Could you explain what you do for a living and/or what your company does?
I am a founding partner of a full service commercial real estate brokerage company located here in Manhattan. The company is called New York Commercial Real Estate Services.
How did you meet the firm?
I first met Adam Leitman Bailey about ten years ago. I have been a client of his ever since. When I first got into the business and I had a very large deal, very large commission, with a very large brokerage company that was trying to keep most of the commission. We worked with Adam with contracts, sales and rentals and negotiations…we recommend Adam to our clients to review contracts, to prepare contracts and the main reason why we use Adam to work with on leases is (1) their diligence and ideas and (2) their responsiveness. We can come to Adam or our clients can come to Adam we come straight to for our contracts and he will turn around 24 hours or review the contracts and have comments within 24 hours which is a real key in my business in getting deals done in responsiveness. You will never hear that they are too busy, that they can’t get to it until a week or two…. right there on the spot, they deal with it.

Timeliness. We can come to Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. with a contract and they will turn around quickly…we get them on the phone with our clients. They can us help us negotiate. They can help us get the contracts get done. They help us get deals done by being timely and diligent…smart.
What kind of litigation did Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. help you and your clients with?
Adam has helped us a number of times. We never actually had to go to court to litigate. But Adam’s skills have helped me in negotiations on the telephone and helped me argue the point and to get things done….to get deals done in a manner that I want them done. Because of his smarts and quick mind…but I can tell you if I had to go to court for litigation that I would use Adam all the way. He is a real sharp strategist and a real sharp thinker… a real fast thinker and I would definitely use him for litigation if I had to.

We run a commercial real estate brokerage company located in Manhattan. We do leasing, sales, offices, stores, restaurants, bars, buildings. It’s very quick base and the responsiveness of this firm is a major major asset that I have because I know that I can call this firm and I can to speak to somebody here and get an answer to a question. I might have a client whether it’s a landlord or a tenant, a possible tenant or possible purchaser or seller sitting right next to me and I am trying to get the deal and I need a few answers from them and they need a few answers quick and I can grab the phone. I can call this firm and I can speak to somebody there and I can get answers on the spot that can help me make or break a deal.
Regarding building sales, what does Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. do well and/or different compared to other firms you have worked with?
Well, we have gotten to a number of situations where we sold buildings where we represent both sides sellers and buyers and again it’s Adam’s negotiating skills and strategy and contract writing, and reviewing skills to just get these things done…to get these building sales done.
I understand that you have worked with our landlord and tenant department. What has that department done for you and your clients regarding evictions?
I have used on a personal note, I have used Adam a couple of times where we had to do evictions and, you know, he is top on it. He is strong, he is a bulldog and he doesn’t stop until we get the results that we want. I recommended Adam to clients of mine, large landlords that have landlord-tenant problems and it’s his knowledge of the law, keen mind and strategy that everybody’s happy with and that helps get the results that everybody is looking for myself and the clients alike.
