Leonard H. Ritz

Prior to becoming of counsel at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. in 2007 and maintaining a successful private practice, Leonard Ritz was an associate in the real estate departments at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel and at Kronish Lieb Weiner & Hellman. His practice includes condominium and cooperative law, commercial leasing, and construction law. He is a member of  the New York State Bar Association  Condominium and Cooperative Law Committees and a past member of the New York City Bar Association Condominium and Cooperative Law Committees. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association Commercial Leasing Committee, and served on the sub-committee which updated “Landlord’s Checklist of Silent Lease Issues” which was published in 2008.  Mr. Ritz is also a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Real Estate Committee on construction law and participated in its preparation of rider to the standard AIA owner/architect agreement addressing owner issues, particularly those situations related to cooperatives and condominiums.

Mr. Ritz has represented developers of condominium projects throughout New York City, including The Trump Organization and The Related Companies. He has played an active role in the development of offering plans and the sale of units for projects ranging in size from four units to 400 units, including Trump World Tower, and One Central Park at the Time Warner Center.

Mr. Ritz attended Princeton University for his undergraduate studies and graduated magna cum laude from Cardozo School of Law in 1996.

Mr. Ritz has been an adjunct faculty member at Cardozo, teaching the required first year legal writing course.
