Michael A. Leon is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Litigation group, handling real estate and other complex commercial litigation. He has represented clients in a broad range of commercial actions including real estate, bankruptcy, financial, mortgages, shareholder disputes, title disputes, as well internal corporate investigations, fiduciary claims, and other complex litigation in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Leon’s extensive experience includes representing commercial real estate developers, boards of directors, committees of boards of directors and substantial stockholders in litigation involving corporate governance issues arising under New York and Delaware General Corporation Law.
Mr. Leon was a member of the Hofstra Law Review and is published in the Spring 2004 Hofstra Law Review for his work on Unauthorized Pop-Up Advertising and the Copyright and Unfair Competition Implications. Mr. Leon received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University.
Mr. Leon is a member of the American Bar Association, Delaware State Bar Association, New York Bar Association, and National Institute of Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Leon is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, District of Delaware, and District of New Jersey.
