Adam Leitman Bailey to Serve as Moderator at His Alma Mater, Syracuse College of Law, for Their Program: Road Less Traveled III, Public Interest as a Path to a Satisfying Legal Career

On Friday, October 4, Adam Leitman Bailey served as moderator at his alma mater, Syracuse College of Law, for their program: Road Less Traveled III, Public Interest as a Path to a Satisfying Legal Career. A panel of seven College of Law alumni from a variety of practice areas and geographic regions will describe their career paths, their decision to pursue public interest law, the rewards and challenges of their jobs and how they have survived financially.

Syracuse College of Law sought Adam Leitman Bailey as a moderator in part because of his contributions during the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, and in the program bios Syracuse University says, “In October 2012, during the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, Mr. Bailey and his staff brought supplies to meetings and counseled clients on understanding the danger flooding presented, particularly in the form of mold and damage to electrical systems. The firm counseled thousands of homeowners on short terms solutions. Not limiting relief efforts to their own clientele, Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. provided assistance to the entire City by publishing white papers instructing citizens on their legal rights.” In addition to moderating the event, Mr. Bailey spoke about his own public-interest endeavors and also;served as one of the key sponsors for the program.
