HOME Ranked as a Finalist in the 2018 Wishing Shelf Book Awards
HOME, by Adam Leitman Bailey, was ranked as a finalist in the 2018 Wishing Shelf Book Awards in the pre-school picture books category.
The Wishing Shelf Awards offers independently published authors the opportunity to be recognized by creating a judging panel of students from approximately 200 primary and secondary schools. Each book entered is read and judged thoroughly allowing the authors to feel involved in the award.
Each children’s book was read by students attending 8 primary and secondary schools in the UK and judged based on editing, style, cover, theme, and illustrations. If the book was awarded over 30/40 it was deemed as a finalist. Finalists have been chosen from countries around the world including the UK, USA, Switzerland, Japan, France, Russia, Germany, and Argentina.
