“If your firm couldn’t win the case it was not winnable.”
One of the transactional attorneys with whom we work is a member of a group of closing attorneys that have been Zoom meeting regularly to discuss developments with COVID-19 and the transactional practice.
At the meeting this week, Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. came up. As she explains:
“Your firm was brought up in the context of an L&T matter where an owner sought eviction on a nuisance ground of second hand smoke. The judge was sympathetic to the smoker because of “everything going on right now”. Two of the litigators said if your firm couldn’t win the case it was not winnable. There was a great deal of respect for your firm and the talented litigators.”
