“The Skills I Learned Here Can Be Applied to Most Other Jobs.”

Q: Please introduce yourself?

A: My name is Reina Victoria, I worked here as a high school intern here at ALB for a couple of months. I am currently going to [redacted] in Massachusetts and my major is painting.

Q: Did you get the experience you wanted out of this internship?

A: Yes, I wanted to learn how an office works and office type setting. And working at the law firm I think this is exactly what I got.

Q: What was your role at ALB?

A: As a high school intern I did various tasks like filing, I did copying, scanning. And later on in the internship I got more responsibilities like making invoices and calling up companies.

Q: How did the firm help you prepare for such tasks?

A: I could ask questions to my supervisors and they would help me with whatever I didn’t know, I didn’t understand.

Q: What was your experience like?

A: It was very different, every day you had something different to do. You had to definitely keep a list to make sure you are not missing anything because it was very fast paced.

Q: Which tasks did you enjoy the most?

A: I enjoyed, I guess, invoice making because you learned a lot about what was involved with the attorneys and cases and things like that.

Q: What would you say was the one thing that stands out that you learned at ALB PC?

A: I definitely learned that time management was very important. You have to keep a list, agenda, to make sure you are not forgetting anything or you don’t get something done on time. So that was very important.

Q: Did you get to work with Adam directly?

A: No, I didn’t.

Q: What skills did you learn here at ALB PC that would be helpful in the future?

A: I learned time management, I learned how to communicate better. I can call people and not be nervous doing it.

Q: Do you think the skills you learned here will help you further your career and if yes, how?

A: Yes, because the skills that I learned here can be applied to most other kind of jobs. I think what I learned here is very valuable.

Q: Do you have any comments for future interns or about working here in general?

A: Just make sure you are confident doing what you do and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Q: Thank you Reina!
