“It’s a Great Resource to Have Somebody Around to Confer With.”

My name is Stephanie Rothman, I am a third year student at Brooklyn Law School and I am originally from Long Island and I went undergrad to Bucknell University.

Q: What was your role here at ALB PC?

A: I was a legal intern. I did whatever the attorneys in both transactional and litigation needed me to do. I was writing memos or researching law or going on closings.

Q: Did you get to work with Adam directly?

A: Yes, I got to work with Adam doing research on two articles. One to be published in the NYLJ and one to accompany a presentation we were doing.

Q: What type of tasks did you perform?

A: A lot of researching legal issues, drafting motions, writing memos, just conversing with the attorneys about what I have researched and explaining to them different variations in the law that I had found.

Q: What have you learned from working here?

A: I’ve learned that it is really crucial to have a close set of expert attorneys in their field because when you are involved in one area of law there is bound to be other issues involved and it’s great resource to have someone around to confer with that is really knowledgeable in the subject.

Q: What is the one thing that would stand out in your mind from working here?

A: Working here was my first experience working in real estate law. And I will never forget it because I was really able to be involved in so many different aspects of real estate law. And it’s such a diverse subject and made me even more passionate about the subject in general and I want to pursue it as a career.

Q: What was the best aspect about working at ALB PC?

A: The best aspect I think is that so many attorneys have come out of the internship program and they are really interested, therefore making my experience enjoyable and giving me substantial work to do.

Q: Do you have any other comments or suggestions?

A: I just want to thank everyone here for making my experience really enjoyable and I’ve learned a lot.

Q: Do we have your permission to post this on our website?

A: Yes, you do.
